During long-term outdoor use, high UV exposure and strong temperature fluctuations may cause the SBR mat to become brittle. The SBR mat provides good insulation capacity, however, it is not designed for high-voltage electrical insulation and does not protect against dangerous electrical current.

Rubber Strip for Outdoor and Indoor Use:

The SBR mat is, like all other rubber mats, ideal for outdoor use. For indoor use, the strong, unpleasant rubber odor often poses a barrier. However, this GRIP SBR mat has a low odor and is therefore suitable for use in enclosed spaces, unlike other mats.

Cleaning and Storage of the SBR Rubber Mat:

Cleaning and storing rubber mats is very simple. Clean the mat with water and a mild cleaning agent. Overly aggressive cleaning agents can cause the rubber to become brittle. If you want to store the SBR mat, the rubber strip should be dry to prevent mold formation. Store the roll in a horizontal position.
